Yellow

Sapporo is a very colourful city, from blue roofs to the greens of parks. Its littered with small patches of curated small perenials, the kind you see on a windowsill in an old persons house; Gerberas, Begonias and Geraniums. I’ve been very attached to yellow, its luminescence brings a kind of joy, from the artificial shades of vehicles and shop fronts, the gentle yellow haze that is cast from halogen lights to what Japan is known for, the striking neons that electrify the streets during the night.
